A1.1 MTN CREEK - DISCOVERY CLASS LEVEL 2 - T2
This class takes place on Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 8pm
at the Mountain Creek State High School and is designed for students who have completed 1 Term of French..
In this course, you will learn:
- Greetings, how to introduce oneself and French etiquette with essential differences between the French and English languages.
- Basic French vocabulary, grammar and conversation used in restaurants, shops, hotels, banks, post offices, railway stations, airports,
etc.
- Some geographical, cultural and historical aspects of France and French life.
Pace: 1.5 hour / week
A1.2 MOUNTAIN CREEK - BEGINNER CLASS LEVEL 2/3 - T2
This class is designed for students having completed at
least 2 Terms of French.
In this course, you will continue to learn:
- Greetings, how to introduce oneself and French etiquette with essential differences between the French and English languages.
- Basic French vocabulary, grammar and conversation used in restaurants, shops, hotels, banks, post offices, railway stations, airports,
etc.
- Some geographical, cultural and historical aspects of France and French life.
Pace: 1.5 hour / week
A2.1 - MTN CREEK ELEMENTARY Level 2 - T2
This class takes place on Wednesdays from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Mountain Creek State High School.
- Revision of basic French grammar and vocabulary including future, past and related tenses.
- Exploration of grammar points using a themed approach.
- Dictations, debates, discussions and short presentations.
- Geography and interesting places to visit in France.
- History and fascinating anecdotes about well-known French personalities.

Topical events, a dash of French politics and some culture !
All of the above using various media (online exercises, CDs, DVDs, books and handouts).
Pace: 1.5 hours / week over 10 weeks
A2.1 MTN CREEK - ELEMENTARY Level 1 - T2
This class takes place on Wednesdays from 5pm to 6.30pm
at the Mountain Creek State High School and is designed for students having completed at least 4 or 5 Terms of French.
In this course, you will continue to learn:
- Greetings, how to introduce oneself and French etiquette with essential differences between the French and English languages.
- Conversation French vocabulary, grammar and phrases used in restaurants, shops, hotels, banks, post offices, railway stations,
airports, etc.
- Some geographical, cultural and historical aspects of France and French life.
Pace: 1.5 hour / week
B1.1 - MTN CREEK INTERMEDIATE - T2,2024
This class takes place on Tuesdays from 5pm to 6.30pm at the Mountain Creek State High School.
Program:
- Revision of basic French grammar and vocabulary including future, past and related tenses.
- Exploration of grammar points using a themed approach.
- Dictations, debates, discussions and short presentations.
- Geography and interesting places to visit in France.
