A1.1 MOUNTAIN CREEK - DISCOVERY CLASS - T1
This class takes place on Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 8pm
at the Mountain Creek State High School and is designed for COMPLETE BEGINNERS in FRENCH.
In this course, you will learn:
- Greetings, how to introduce oneself and French etiquette with essential differences between the French and English languages.
- Basic French vocabulary, grammar and conversation used in restaurants, shops, hotels, banks, post offices, railway stations, airports,
etc.
- Some geographical, cultural and historical aspects of France and French life.
Pace: 1.5 hour / week

This class takes place on Mondays from 9.30am to
11am at " the J" in Noosa and is designed for COMPLETE BEGINNERS in FRENCH.
In this course, you will learn:

In this course, you will continue to learn:

- Basic French vocabulary, grammar and conversation used in restaurants, shops, hotels, banks, post offices, railway stations, airports,
etc.

This class takes place on Mondays from 9.30am to 11am at the J in Noosa
Conversation-based Advanced Level Class:
- Culture : French geography and interesting places to visit, history and anecdotes about well-known French personalities, topical events, literature, famous characters, food.

Writing : short presentations, debate/discussion preparation, grammar exercises using a themed approach (regular homework
including corrections).
- Dictations.
- Listening to/understanding audio documents, French news via internet. Speaking : debates, discussions and conversation between students on various topics including a dash of French politics!
